Tax Manager

An established and rapidly growing advisory platform is seeking high-performing tax professionals to join its dynamic client-facing team. This opportunity offers direct exposure to complex, high-impact tax initiatives across a diverse portfolio of large, sophisticated organizations.

This is not a traditional in-house or public accounting role—professionals here operate in a hybrid advisory capacity, partnering with clients on critical tax matters while continuously expanding their technical and strategic skill sets.

The Opportunity

You will work alongside experienced leaders and collaborate directly with clients on strategic tax projects, gaining exposure that typically takes years to accumulate in more traditional environments.

Key areas of focus include:

• Corporate tax compliance and reporting (ASC 740 / provision work)
• Tax planning and structuring initiatives
• Audit support and tax controversy
• Transaction-related tax work (M&A, restructuring, etc.)
• IPO readiness and broader business transformation projects
• Systems implementations and process optimization

This role is designed for professionals who want variety, accelerated learning, and career mobility without being siloed.

Ideal candidates will have:

• 4+ years of tax experience within public accounting
• Strong foundation in corporate tax compliance (required)
• Exposure to tax provision (ASC 740) (a plus)
• Partnership tax experience (a plus)
• EA, CPA, or progress toward certification (preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, modeling; macros a plus)
• Demonstrated career progression and strong professional stability
