Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000
Overview
A leading transportation provider is seeking a Dispatcher to support daily full truckload and intermodal drayage operations. This role is responsible for coordinating drivers, managing schedules, and ensuring on-time service in a fast-paced, real-time environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch and schedule drivers for FTL and container/drayage moves
- Coordinate appointments with ports, rail ramps, warehouses, and customers
- Monitor loads in real time and adjust for delays, traffic, or service issues
- Communicate consistently with drivers and customers regarding updates and ETAs
- Support container flow, equipment availability, and appointment compliance
- Maintain accurate load data, notes, and tracking in dispatch/TMS systems
Qualifications
- 2+ years of dispatch experience in trucking, logistics, or intermodal environments
- Familiarity with drayage/port operations preferred
- Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with dispatch systems, TMS, or ELD platforms
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary range: $65,000 $75,000 , depending on experience
