About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Project Executive to oversee the delivery of capital projects within a business unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that project management activities align with safety, efficiency, schedule, budget, and all relevant requirements. This role involves monitoring project status, mitigating risks, and resolving issues, as well as coordinating with various personnel to manage the safe and efficient execution of capital projects. The Senior Vice President and Project Executive will also be tasked with mentoring staff, minimizing the impact of projects on operations and the public, and maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 20 years' of related experience, with at least 12 years' in a management or supervisory role. A Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license is desirable, and PMP and CCM certifications are preferred. The ideal candidate will have a background in project management for major construction projects or complex systems, experience in leading and managing contractors, and a proven track record of effective communication, collaboration, and leadership. The role requires a leader who is a change agent, innovative thinker, and is dedicated to aligning business goals with process improvements.
