About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years Emergency Nursing experience required License: Current nursing license Certifications: AHA Certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS. NRP and TNCC certifications preferred Must-Have: General emergency department nursing skills including but not limited to assessment, documentation, IV therapy, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education. Description: 65-Bed Emergency Department with pod-based design. Includes separate pediatric pod and acute mental health area. Census averages 230 visits per day. Clinician to patient ratio is 1:4. Experience required in general emergency nursing skills. Floating to other areas may be required. Rotating shifts may be required when requested. Night positions do not rotate. Charting system is EPIC ASAP.
