Buyer

The Buyer will manage procurement activities, optimize inventory levels, and support supplier relationships in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role combines purchasing execution with demand forecasting, inventory analysis, and cost management to ensure product availability and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders from planning through receipt.
• Analyze inventory levels, demand forecasts, and purchasing trends to support replenishment decisions.
• Manage supplier relationships, pricing, lead times, and performance.
• Collaborate with operations, logistics, customer service, and finance teams.
• Resolve shortages, delivery issues, and invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate purchasing data within ERP systems.
• Analyze supplier performance, purchasing KPIs, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Evaluate landed costs and support sourcing initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or buyer experience.
• Strong inventory analysis, forecasting, and supplier management skills.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data analysis).

Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000
