This role combines strong technical expertise with Agile leadership responsibilities, including PI Planning and Scrum execution. Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.Key Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a team of software engineers on daily tasks and technical directionFacilitate PI Planning, Sprint Planning, and other Scrum ceremoniesBreak down features into tasks, assign work, and track progressDesign, develop, and review complex Java-based applications and servicesEnsure high code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practicesCollaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other teams to deliver on commitmentsRemove technical and process blockers for the teamProvide technical guidance and support career growth for team membersQualificationsRequirements:7+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in JavaProven experience as a Tech Lead or Team LeadHands-on experience with Agile methodologies, including PI Planning and ScrumStrong knowledge of task decomposition, sprint planning, and team coordinationActive TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (required)Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modern development practicesExcellent communication and leadership skillsPreferred to Have:Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Knowledge of microservices, Spring Boot, or related Java frameworksFamiliarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesPrior experience in government or clear environmentsEssential Requirements:US Citizenship is required.Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (required)In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is listed .
