Donor Center Phlebotomist

Job Description We provide paid training – no prior medical experience required. Phlebotomy experience preferred. Key Responsibilities Take the time to personally connect with donors, listen to their stories, and help them understand the impact of their donation. Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming and friendly environment so volunteer donors feel comfortable returning. Be detail‑oriented throughout the day to ensure the blood collected meets regulatory requirements and can be safely transfused. Work a variable schedule, which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and variable shifts. Receive schedule information two to three weeks in advance. Schedule Variable schedule (Missoula, Montana). Staff work early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays. Pay Information Starting rate: $20.00 per hour. Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree or a combination of education and work experience is required. Minimum of one year of customer service experience in a public setting is required. A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required. Physical requirements may include the ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs, good manual dexterity, and the ability to sit or stand for long periods and adapt to irregular hours and frequent schedule changes. Basic computer skills are required. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.).
