The Project Manager will be involved in all aspects of project management, from planning and budgeting to execution and communication.Job Description:**Essential duties and responsibilities*** Manage academic projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.* Coordinate academic events, including conferences, workshops, and seminars, ensuring all logistical arrangements are in place.* Provide operational support to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, including but not limited to reports generation and presentations development as assigned.* Collaborate with departmental heads and faculty members to identify project needs and develop project plans accordingly.* Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or obstacles, proactively implementing solutions to mitigate them.* Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and budget reports.* Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and objectives.* Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to optimize project management workflows.* Assist in the development of departmental policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives.* Other duties as assigned.**Required knowledge, skills, and abilities*** Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Proficiency in project management tools and software.* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Knowledge of academic administration processes and procedures is preferred.**Minimum qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in project management or business administration required.
