Overview
Registered Nurse, Infusion – Sitka, Alaska. Travel assignment starting 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $3,160 to $3,315 per week; guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: 5x8 days. Provides infusion nursing care in a dedicated infusion services area within a clinical care setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
- Administer specialty IV fluids and medications for infusion patients per orders, using appropriate infusion sets and protocols
- Monitor patients during and after infusion, detect adverse reactions, and document findings in the medical record
- Coordinate and oversee appointment scheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations for infusion services
- Maintain IV access devices (e.g., peripheral lines, CVCs) per agency and infection-control guidelines; manage central lines as assigned
- Educate patients and families about infusion treatments, post-discharge care, and safety considerations; participate in care conferences as needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and adjust the patient’s plan of care and ensure smooth patient flow

Requirements
- Active RN license in Alaska or current U.S. state license with eligibility to obtain Alaska licensure before start
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience; infusion/immunotherapy/chemotherapy experience preferred
- Must be able to provide or obtain flu vaccination as required
- Ability to complete required fingerprinting and meet start-date timing to avoid delays
- Proficiency with IV infusion pumps, monitoring equipment, and electronic health records; strong communication and critical thinking skills
