Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week days assignment requiring 2 years of Cath Lab experience and an active MI RN license.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a 202-bed regional hospital
• Hospital emphasizes cardiology, cancer, orthopedics, and neurosciences
• Day shift schedule, 0700-1730, four days a week
• Weekend call required Friday 1730 through Monday 0700
• On-call responsibilities include one night per week and typically every 4th-6th weekend

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required at time of submission
• Compact licenses not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of RN Cath Lab experience required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Current ACLS (AHA) certification required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within a cardiac cath lab setting
• Facility enforces a strict attendance policy allowing no more than 3 incidents of absence or tardiness over 20 minutes, resulting in immediate termination
• Absences related to communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting documentation may be reviewed favorably
• Candidates within a 35-mile radius are considered local travelers and subject to a reduced pay rate
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed during the assignment
