LPN - Outpatient Clinic

Clinic LPN

Schedule: 8AM - 5PM

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description: The Clinic LPN is responsible for assisting healthcare providers in delivering patient care, performing nursing procedures, and promoting a positive patient experience in the clinic setting. This position entails essential nursing duties including assessments, assisting providers with procedures, calling patients with test results, prescription refills, filing, ordering medical supplies, and additional duties as assigned by the provider and/or Clinic Director.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the documentation of patient care and treatments within the electronic health record.
• Functions as the primary liaison between patients, staff, and providers.
• Works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to meet the needs of the patient.
• Capable of taking vital signs, triaging patient calls, refilling prescriptions, and completing necessary prior authorizations.
• Scheduling referral appointments and supporting team members as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current unencumbered Montana LPN license.
• Current BLS certification.
