Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within a community hospital environment featuring 14 beds, a trauma room, and vertical care spaces
• Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1, delivering safe and effective nursing care across all assigned patients
• Accurately document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to manage emergency and trauma cases effectively
• Float to other units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
• Adhere to all unit-specific protocols, compliance standards, and education requirements including NIH and stroke education

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or valid compact license – must be in hand at time of submittal
• EPIC electronic health records experience required – no exceptions
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Emergency Room specialty experience within the last year
• NIH and stroke education required
• One supervisory reference required at time of submittal

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a community or newly opened hospital setting
• Familiarity with trauma room workflows and vertical care models
