Assembly Floor Lead Job SummaryThe Assembly Floor Lead plays a critical role in daily production operations at Bedrock Truck Beds. This Assembly Floor Lead provides hands-on leadership on the assembly floor, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork while supporting supervisors and mentoring production team members.
Assembly Floor Lead Responsibilities· Lead daily assembly activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
· Serve as a point of contact for production employees during assigned shifts.
· Monitor workflow, staffing, and materials to ensure efficient production.
· Train, coach, and mentor team members on standard work and best practices.
· Enforce safety policies and promote a culture of accountability.
· Identify and communicate production issues and improvement opportunities.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing efforts.
· Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and leadership teams as needed.
· All other duties as assigned by management.
Assembly Floor Lead Skills and Competencies· Strong leadership and team-building skills
· Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
· Clear verbal communication and basic documentation skills

Assembly Floor Lead Qualifications· High school diploma or equivalent required
· 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
· Prior lead, trainer, or supervisory experience strongly preferred
· Ability to read work instructions and production documentation
· Forklift or equipment experience is a plus
Physical Requirements· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. as required
· Capability to work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods
