Senior Civil Engineer Lead

Applicants can explore more about the firm and additional career opportunities at Role Description The Senior Civil Engineer will provide technical leadership and oversight on civil engineering projects for industrial, commercial, and institutional clients in the Greater Phoenix Area. This full-time, on-site role includes developing and reviewing civil design plans, specifications, and calculations; coordinating grading, drainage, utilities, and site layout; and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The person in this role will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams, participate in planning and feasibility studies, and support stormwater management and infrastructure solutions. Responsibilities also include mentoring junior civil engineers, managing project schedules and deliverables, and contributing to proposal development and client presentations as needed. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design for site development, infrastructure, and industrial projects. Experience with planning activities, including feasibility studies, site planning, and coordination with regulatory agencies. Demonstrated expertise in Stormwater Management, including hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and design of drainage systems and stormwater facilities. Previous experience working as or with Civil Engineers on multidisciplinary project teams in the AEC industry. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field; Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Arizona or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe. Proficiency with civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, relevant modeling tools) and familiarity with applicable codes and standards. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to mentor and support less experienced team members. Experience in industrial or high-tech manufacturing projects is beneficial; prior work in large, complex, multi-site programs is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr SSOE Group
