Job Summary:Member of the IT Operations Team supporting a busy manufacturing facility with responsibilities covering a wide range of technologies including, but not limited to, systems administration, helpdesk, telephony administration, CRM administration, and laptop/desktop computer build-up/replacement.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- 1st level of support for inbound email and phone-based technical support for on-site employees
- Setup and configure laptop and desktop computers (Software installs, patches, etc.)
- Request email logins from corporate IT during onboarding in coordination with HR
- Developing and updating online support documentation
- Perform systems administration functions for Windows 365 infrastructure, Exchange, software updates, anti-virus, backups and CRM systems
- Avaya phone system administration - Setup/deploy phones to on-site personnel (Avaya IP Office 500)
- Other duties as required
Education and Experience:
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to those who have completed course or have working knowledge in IT Desktop Support, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- 2+ years experience in an IT helpdesk/systems administration role
- Ability to work to a strict deadline
- Experience with SQL preferred but not required
- A strong desire to learn and grow
- Knowledge of databases and operating systems
- Good working knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office software
- Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- Physical ability to lift/move/haul computers/monitors/servers/etc
This is an ONSITE role, remote work is not available.
