Application Developer / Reverse Engineer

Columbia, MD | Full Time | TS/SCI with Polygraph Required

Position: Application Developer / Reverse Engineer (Application Developer, Level 3)

Location: Columbia, MD (on-site)

Category: Software Development / Reverse Engineering / Embedded

Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Compensation: $200,000 – $250,000 (annualized USD)

Experience Requirement:

• 12+ years with a Bachelor's degree, OR

• 10+ years with a Master's degree, OR

• 4 additional years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree

Description

You will act as an embedded developer / general-purpose software engineer for up-and-coming projects, designing, developing, prototyping, modifying, and integrating solutions that deliver high-impact results.

You'll work closely with analysts, data scientists, and other software engineers to provide tactical technical support. This fast-paced, dynamic environment demands a flexible, highly-motivated engineer with a strong desire to learn new skills and tackle evolving challenges.

Responsibilities

• Augment existing toolsets.

• Derive, document, and analyze requirements.

• Build prototypes to demonstrate understanding of project requirements.

• Produce end toolsets that can operate within project constraints.

• Work with customer leadership to build relationships that help enable and improve project success.

Skills Requirements

• Experience developing software in Linux/Windows/Embedded applications.

• Experience with reverse engineering, especially with Ghidra.

• Produce and modify software systems in C/C++/Python.

• Provide support for fielded software systems.

• Familiarity with Git and Subversion.

• Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence).

• Willingness to learn new technologies and systems to meet project objectives.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with any of the following: Java, JavaScript, Bash, Assembly (both x86 and x64), PowerShell, Perl, C#, and Rust.

• Experience with Vulnerability Research and Exploit Development.

• Prior experience in cyber operations or capability development.

Compensation Employment Policy

Salary is determined by multiple factors, including location, education, experience, skills, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $200,000 – $250,000 (annualized USD).
