Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - PICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized respiratory care to patients in the PICU, NICU, and ED settings.
• Operate and manage advanced respiratory equipment including high frequency jet and oscillating ventilators.
• Collaborate with the medical team to assess patient needs and develop individualized respiratory care plans.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards in respiratory therapy.
• Perform emergency procedures and assist in critical interventions as necessary.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• Current NC RRT licensure or compact license in hand.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric critical care and NICU environments.
• Proficient in operating and troubleshooting advanced respiratory equipment.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS are required.
• Experience with managing pediatric cardiac anomalies and emergency respiratory care.
• Familiarity with Epic charting and documentation systems preferred.
