Direct Support Professional (DSP) Location: Zebulon, NC — PRN hours as needed. About the Role As a DSP at Easterseals PORT Health, you will provide care and support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in a group home setting, assisting with daily living tasks and helping them achieve their goals. Responsibilities Provide care in the individual’s home and community. Assist with everyday tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, cleaning, bathing, dressing, and employment support. Transport the client to appointments and run errands. Help plan and organize their schedule. Complete daily documentation and reporting in the electronic health system of record. Qualifications Entry‑level experience; on‑the‑job training provided. High school diploma or GED required. Basic knowledge of housekeeping, nutrition, and safety protocols. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and dependability. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems or aptitude to learn. Reliable transportation with current auto insurance.
