Hours 9:30am-8:00pm Weds-Tuesday

BLS, ACLS and AZ Pharmacy License

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate dispensing of medications and maintain patient safety on shift.

• Counsel patients on medication usage, dosing, and potential side effects.

• Document and report adverse drug events and near-misses promptly.

• Adhere to regulatory standards, compounding protocols, and quality metrics.

• Produce accurate medication profiles and maintain patient privacy per HIPAA/PHI guidelines.

• Maintain precise medication inventory and manage replenishment orders.

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy plans.

• Provide on-site support during day shifts with a 7-on/7-off schedule as assigned.

• Engage in continuous professional development and pursue merit-based growth.

• Utilize data and pipelines to track performance and target achievement.

• Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Experience/Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in the applicable state with no disciplinary actions.

• Hospital/consultant pharmacy experience in dispensing and patient counseling.

• Proficiency in HIPAA/PHI compliance and patient data privacy practices.

• Strong attention to medication safety, adverse events reporting, and near-miss documentation.

• Experience with inventory management and medication procurement processes.

• Ability to work day shift on a 7-on/7-off schedule with on-site presence.

• Mechanical/clinical accuracy in building and maintaining patient medication profiles.

• Collaboration skills to support multidisciplinary teams and pharmacotherapy optimization.

• Data-driven mindset with ability to use pipelines to track performance and targets.
