The CNC Machinist/Operator plays a critical role in the production process by setting up and operating milling CNC machines within a small, focused team environment. This role emphasizes precision, quality inspection, and adherence to blueprints to ensure that manufactured parts meet strict specifications during day shift hours.
Responsibilities
- Set up milling CNC machines for production runs
- Operate machinery according to established procedures
- Conduct quality inspections to verify specifications and tolerances
- Read and interpret blueprints to guide machining processes
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in CNC machining
- Proficient in blueprint reading
- Knowledge of machine maintenance
- Skilled in precision measurement techniques
- Strong commitment to quality control
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Good time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
