Principal Reliability Engineer-Indianapolis

Labcorp seeks a Principal Reliability Engineer to serve as the senior technical authority for enterprise reliability strategy and asset performance across a global facilities portfolio. The role involves leading capital projects, establishing engineering standards, and driving operational excellence across complex multi-site initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement enterprise reliability strategies to improve system performance and lifecycle outcomes
- Lead engineering and capital projects from concept through commissioning, managing $5M-$25M annual portfolio
- Develop global engineering design standards, procedures, and project execution governance across regions
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations; establish maintenance strategies and performance metrics
- Mentor technical teams, partner with senior leadership, and drive organizational reliability culture
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 5+ years professional engineering experience
- 10+ years progressive experience in project, reliability, or facilities engineering
- 5+ years leading complex, multi-site, high-impact facility projects
- 5+ years with CMMS, predictive maintenance technologies, and reliability analytics
- Advanced technical expertise in Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical, or Automation & Instrumentation
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience in asset-intensive or regulated environments such as healthcare or life sciences
