Validation Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on Validation Engineer to support power conversion validation programs in a high-energy lab environment. This role is critical to ensuring reliable hardware performance through structured testing, data accuracy, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

This is a fully onsite position with a strong focus on execution, lab discipline, and safety-first practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute hardware validation tests for power conversion systems
• Own and manage assigned validation test plans and schedules
• Prepare detailed lab test requests (power levels, voltage, instrumentation, environmental conditions)
• Set up test configurations and ensure instrumentation is properly calibrated
• Perform testing across lab zones and assigned shifts
• Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and high-quality data records
• Support post-test data analysis and contribute to validation reports
• Promote and follow a strong safety-first culture, including peer accountability
• Work onsite daily in a fast-paced, schedule-driven lab environment

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with hardware testing or validation (software-only experience is not sufficient)
• Experience working in a physical lab environment with electrical or electromechanical systems
• Strong understanding of lab safety practices and PPE requirements
• Ability to follow structured test procedures and execute repeatable validation processes
• Willingness to work early shifts and support split-shift operations
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and documentation
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in hardware validation or testing
• Experience with power electronics, high-voltage systems, or energy-dense environments
• Familiarity with lab instrumentation, calibration processes, and asset tracking
• Experience contributing to validation reports and post-test data analysis
• Background working in a structured engineering or validation lab environment
