Job Title: Medical Surgical (Oncology) RN Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Medical Surgical (Oncology) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 3 x 12 Hour Nights Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Required Certifications: BLS, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: BSN Not Required Description: Provide patient-centered care in a medical surgical oncology setting. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor patient’s vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and families about their treatment plans and health management. Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record system. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols. Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance nursing practice. Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and staff. Ensure a positive and supportive environment for patients and their families.
