Thoracic or Cardiothoracic Radiologist, Tampa FL | Academic Appointment | Hybrid M-F

POSITION SUMMARY

Radiology Associates of Florida & the University of South Florida (USF) Morsani College of Medicine, is seeking a full‑time, fellowship trained Thoracic or Cardiothoracic Radiologist to support our growing practice in Tampa, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the leading academic medical center in Florida (USF/Tampa General Hospital) with an academic faculty appointment at USF, while working with medical students, 32 residents and 2 cardiothoracic fellows. There are also opportunities to serve in leadership within the USF Department of Radiology based on the candidate’s academic experience. This hybrid academic/private position is a full‑time, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. position partnership track position. The practice offers the full range of benefits to include generous PTO. The practice also offers a voluntary internal moonlighting program with unmatched flexibility, allowing radiologists to moonlight from home as much or as little as they prefer, without having to commit to extra shifts.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Cardiac‑specific experience is a plus, but not required Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology Completed a one‑year post‑residency fellowship training, in the subspecialty of Thoracic Radiology or Cardiothoracic radiology Medical license or the ability to obtain a license in the state of FL

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $500,000–$1,000,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
