Job Description

• Create Personalized Therapy Plans: Assess individual patient needs and craft tailored therapy approaches that facilitate their functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-supported interventions to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, well-rounded care.
• Coach Patients and Caregivers: Provide guidance to patients and families regarding therapy methods to promote continuous improvement at home.
• Evaluate and Document Progress: Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust strategies as needed, ensuring patients remain on track.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement and support for continuing education or post-graduate certifications

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
