Job Description
- Create Personalized Therapy Plans: Assess individual patient needs and craft tailored therapy approaches that facilitate their functional goals.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-supported interventions to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily activities.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, well-rounded care.
- Coach Patients and Caregivers: Provide guidance to patients and families regarding therapy methods to promote continuous improvement at home.
- Evaluate and Document Progress: Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust strategies as needed, ensuring patients remain on track.
Education
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Encouragement and support for continuing education or post-graduate certifications
Certifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
