4631 - Solution Sales Executive

PRIMARY PURPOSE

Under the direction of the CEO, the Solution Sales Executive is responsible for promoting the value proposition, products, and services for our client. This position achieves maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling our client’s products and/or related services. The Solution Sales Executive personally contacts and secures new business account and customers. The Solution Sales Executive adheres to the Sales Process and works with Team Members to the successful completion of the sale.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Promotes, sells, and secures orders from customers through a relationship-based approach. Maintains a high level of proficiency in our client’s technology allowing for effective customer demonstrations and assisting in the selection of designs best suited to customer requirements. Travel: up to 50% of time required. Commitment to a positive and respectful workplace environment by leading and always acting and behaving in a professional manner. Establish and develop relationships with prospective customers in the assigned territory and market segment to generate new business for our client’s products and services. Lead generation: research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their viability. Coordinate sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups. Analyze the territory and market potential to determine the value of existing and prospective customers. Create and actively manage a customer value plan building business from existing customers. Create new business plan that provides for market growth year after year. Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment. Know your competitors, understand their products/services and sales approach. Understand where we compete to maintain focus. Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations and presentations. Update CRM and management with customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Attend marketing meetings. Coordinates activities with Marketing, Production, Accounting and Customer Service.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

College degree preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management or sales related field of study OR 5 years of experience in a solution-based sales position in a related sales market with responsibilities for identifying leads, closing sales and providing oversight to a project implementation teams OR a combination of education and experience. Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well at all levels in the organization. Polished presentation skills. Knowledge of building infrastructure systems, facility management and critical facilities. Competent in Microsoft Office Products – Word, Excel, Teams, Power Point and Outlook. Possess a valid driver’s license.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is typically performed under reasonably good working conditions however some tasks may be required to be performed in confined spaces and in disagreeable conditions including but not limited to: dirt, dust, fumes, noise, heat, cold, uneven footing, and wet conditions. Many tasks will be repetitive, and some may be strenuous.

MENTAL OR VISUAL DEMAND

Concentrated mental and/or visual attention; the work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications; or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods.

SAFETY

Support a safe work environment by performing duties in accordance with acceptable, safe work procedures. This includes but is not limited to: reporting all incidents and accidents to your immediate supervisor within 24 hours; maintaining work area in a safe and healthful condition; reporting, and whenever possible correcting, unsafe working conditions; operating vehicles while in the course of employment in a safe and lawful manner; and providing assistance to reduce or eliminate workplace hazards. #J-18808-Ljbffr Lexicon Solutions
