Job Description

A San Diego based client is seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician (IM or FP) to provide excellent care to patients of all ages. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative Physician who values providing equitable care to all populations, including the underserved and underinsured. Leadership Skills are a plus. The role involves the full scope of family practice in order to meet the diverse health and social needs of patients.

Required Qualifications

  Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree

\n
• \n

  Current CA state medical license

\n
• \n

  Completed an accredited residency program in the field of Family Practice or Internal Medicine

\n
• \n

  Current DEA certificate

\n
• \n

  Board certified or eligible in primary care

\n
• \n

  Current CPR certification

\n

Responsibilities

\n
• \n

  Provide direct patient care, including preventive care, primary diagnosis and treatment and inpatient medical care if appropriate.

\n
• \n

  Secures and evaluates a patient’s health history and records findings in a systematic accurate and succinct manner.

\n
• \n

  Performs physical assessment and is able to discriminate between normal and abnormal findings.

\n
• \n

  Provides routine physical examinations, diagnostic services and treatment of illnesses and emergencies.

\n
• \n

  Adheres to the highest standards of medical ethics.

\n
• \n

  Assures quality of care for all patients.

\n
• \n
