Senior IT Asset Mgmt Analyst

Overview This position performs complex data analysis in support of technology asset management tracking, analysis, and reporting within the Information Technology ("IT") department of the Bank. Assesses a wide scope of business practices, information, and industry trends. Determines improvements or solutions to address identified issues. Prepares technical reports by examining and summarizing asset management data, and creates specifications to support asset management initiatives. Performs recurring asset management support tasks related to onboarding of software and hardware assets, maintenance of software and hardware asset records, data quality assurance and associated reconciliation steps, managing end-of-support/end-of-service, and asset retirement. May oversee the work of less experienced analysts or assist in special projects as needed. Responsibilities & Qualifications Duties & Responsibilities Data Analysis - This position performs complex data analysis to identify factors that affect technology asset management tracking, analysis, and reporting. Assesses a wide scope of business practices, information, and industry trends. Determines improvements or solutions to address identified issues. Prepares technical reports by examining and summarizing data and creates specifications to support asset management operations. May oversee the work of less experienced analysts or assist in special projects as needed. Operational Support - Provides support for business operations by responding to inquiries, identifying issues, and working to improve team practices. Assists in streamlining daily workflow for overall unit, resolving escalated matters where possible. Implements recommended modifications and enhancements. May serve as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units. Identifying Objectives - Determines business needs through complex analysis and reporting. Develops strategies to achieve company and department goals, and communicates these through the use of specifications, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Reporting - Produces reports based on data analysis, industry trends, and process capabilities. Conveys patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. May develop process enhancements based on reporting. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Analytics, Modeling or Reporting OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Analytics, Modeling or Reporting Prefered Qualifications Minimum of 3 years relevant experience with the CMDB and the CSDM framework. Must demonstrate strong ability to perform advanced data analysis, reporting and creating dashboards. ITIL v3 or v4 certification with advanced knowledge of ITIL best practices and application of concepts with expertise in Configuration Management and working knowledge of ITAM and ITSM processes. Hands-on experience with CMDB Workspace, CMDB Health, IRE and CMDB Data Certification. Ability to recommend design specifications and support. Knowledge of Agile and SDLC delivery methods. Ability to demonstrate critical thinking to perform root cause analysis, break/fix remediation, and recommend improvement initiatives. Strong communication skills with ability to interact with technical and business stakeholders. ServiceNow Certifications for CSA or in CMDB, CMDB Health, Platform Analytics a plus. Working experience with ServiceNow Process Automation a plus.
