Respiratory Therapist

Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: Days 06:30 - 19:00 (3x12's)

The Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) is responsible for delivering essential cardiopulmonary services as per protocols approved by medical staff. This involves providing timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
• Manage and maintain airways, including non-invasive and invasive ventilations.
• Perform intubations and manage patients on ventilators.
• Conduct blood gas analyses.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Must possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum experience required in ICU, general floors, and emergency department; NICU and pediatrics experience preferred but not essential.
