- Source and purchase materials, goods, and services to meet procurement needs.
- Manage purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Manage inventory manage & lead times to accurately update & track OR's.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand inventory and material requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier information.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
The Successful Applicant A successful Buyer I should have:
- Experience with procurement processes and supplier management.
- Ability to manage contracts effectively.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Drive to grow into a Buyer II & learn strategic sourcing methodlogies.
- Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $85,000 per year.
