Project/Design Engineer

Job Title: Design Engineer / Project Engineer 
Location: Hampstead, MD 
Compensation: $90,000–$130,000 (Negotiable)
Travel: Up to 30–40% (Primarily to customer sites in the Mid-Atlantic region)

Micro-Tech Designs, a systems integrator primarily focused in waste/waste water market located in Hamstead, Maryland, has an immediate opening for a Control Panel Design Engineer .

What You Get To Do
·      Support the planning, design, and execution of projects
·      Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including developing drawings, bill of materials, submittals, start-up, PLC and HMI programming, project startup, and support
·       Troubleshoot issues that arise during the project and implement appropriate technical solutions
·      May perform other job duties as assigned. 
What We Need From You
·      Familiarity with programmable logic controller programming and power distribution equipment such as MCC's, VFD's, and starters. 
·       Experience with control panel components such as relays, timers, and pilot devices is a plus.
·       Experience with AutoCAD for control panel design and electrical schematics
·       Familiarity with instrumentation and controls used in the wastewater industry is also a plus.
·      Excellent problem-solving abilities with close attention to detail.
