Job Title: Dietary/Food Service Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dietary/Food Service Specialist to join our team within a hospital setting. This role involves preparing and cooking food according to established recipes and standards, assisting with breakfast preparation, and working effectively as part of the dietary team.

• Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and food-service standards.
• Assist with breakfast preparation and service.
• Work the grill and prepare menu items as needed.
• Assist with food prep and general kitchen duties.
• Perform light dishwashing and cleanup when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation and kitchen areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and healthcare facility procedures.
• Work effectively as part of the dietary/food service team.
• Complete other kitchen duties as assigned.

• Basic cooking experience required.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures.

• Previous food service, cooking, or kitchen experience preferred.
• Healthcare food service experience is a plus, but not required.

Work in a kitchen within a hospital setting, with shifts from 6:00AM to 2:30PM on Monday and Thursday, and 9:30AM to 5:30PM on Saturday and Sunday. The role requires working every other weekend, with potential additional weekday shifts discussed during the interview.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milton, MA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milton, MA.
