About Georgetown Hill
We're a local non-profit preschool with a big mission: bring teachers, children, and families together to create an early childhood experience that's second to none. We've been doing this in Maryland since 1980 (see our story here) so we know a thing or two about what makes a classroom feel like home.

The Role -
Assistant Teachers Twos & Threes
You're the extra set of hands, eyes, and hugs every classroom needs. This is a great fit if this describes you! And great for anyone who is building experience toward leading your own classroom.
What you'll do:
- Support the Lead Teacher in bringing our P.L.A.N. curriculum to life
- Help build a safe, nurturing space where kids feel secure and loved
- Jump in wherever needed floating between classrooms as our thriving school needs
- Support each child's day-to-day needs with patience and care
- Bring positive energy to your team, your students, and their families
You'll bring:
- Preschool experience of 13 years
- MSDE 90hr Preschool Certificate or CDA Certification with Preschool Endorsement (minimum)
- A team-first attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
- Good communication skills and a calm, friendly presence
- Reliability and punctuality you take seriously

- ???? Hood College/Frederick Situated adjacent to the beautiful campus of Hood College. We serve both the college and surrounding community. naeyc accredited!
Good to Know
Per Maryland State Department of Education Office of Child Care regulations, all applicants must pass a state and federal background check as a condition of employment. Applicants for our federal center campuses must also receive GSA security clearance through a government background screening.
