Medical Account Specialist II - NEUROLOGY - NEW ORLEANS, LA

Job Overview The Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) engages Neurology specialists and key stakeholders across diverse care settings (e.g., academic centers, large group practices, IDNs, and community accounts) within an assigned geography. The MS delivers clinically focused messaging to drive revenue and achieve product goals, demonstrating strong ownership, initiative, and compliance and integrity-driven performance. This role involves developing and executing account strategies to grow market share, building relationships with clinicians, nurses, and patient advocacy groups, and collaborating with cross‑functional partners to address customer needs and market dynamics. Location Field Based: New Orleans (Metro), LA Responsibilities Engage Rare Neurology experts and customers within the assigned geography and deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch product, grow brand share and revenue, and consistently deliver product goals. Partner with multiple stakeholders (Reimbursement and Access Specialists and others) to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends. Develop strong working relationships with customers, collaboration colleagues and internal contacts (clinics, physicians, nurses, health care providers, patient advocacy groups, Reimbursement and Access Specialist team, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training and Trade). Conduct market profiling activities to understand regional and local health care delivery, influencers, and payer systems. Develop strategic account selling and management skills; create comprehensive territory/account/customer plans to drive desired objectives. Ensure all personnel in the account are educated on commercially available Regeneron products. Execute tactics within key accounts in the Rare Neurology area to establish, generate, and expand market share. Identify business opportunities and coordinate efforts with the Regeneron Rare Neurology account team. Gain deep knowledge of each assigned account through internal research and integration of information from various stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree mandatory; Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications a plus. Minimum 5 years successful experience in Neurology sales and specialty/biologic/REMS products; launch experience preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience working with key thought leaders in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations in Neurology. Proven track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets with diverse customer segments and high integrity within compliance guidelines. Results‑oriented with success in product launches. Strong account management experience with analytical, problem‑solving, and planning skills. Current account management experience in calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks. Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and the current market.
