Job Title Travel Physical Therapist - Rehab Job Description American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment at a Level 1 Trauma hospital in Plano, TX. The role involves one‑on‑one PT treatment delivery across acute care and inpatient rehabilitation units. Assignment Details Location: Plano, Texas Start Date: June 22, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 per week (8‑hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Weekend shifts: two per month on a rotating basis No on‑call or floating duties Planned shifts: 5 days a week, 8 hours each Responsibilities Provide one‑on‑one PT treatment in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings Serve across a 600‑bed acute care hospital and a 40‑bed inpatient rehab unit, covering Neuroscience, ICUs, ECMO, Burn, Oncology, and Ortho & Spine floors Utilize rehabilitation equipment such as walking aids, bikes, parallel bars, and treadmills Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team (27 full‑time PTs, 19 OT, 9 S/T) Document patient progress in Meditech EMR system Qualifications Minimum 1 year of acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation experience Active PT license (if required by state) Recent active experience within the past 6 months No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the last 12 months Experience confined to SNF, outpatient, pediatrics, or school settings will not be considered Valid U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth available for consideration One professional reference required (two for Florida or Missouri licensed candidates) Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Compensation & Benefits Pay based on 8‑hour shifts, 40 hrs per week (subject to confirmation) Tax‑free stipend (amount to be determined) Benefits include premium medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k) match, housing stipend, and 24/7 support with in‑house clinicians Job ID: P-721047 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
