As a CDL Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of roll-off and dump trucks primarily transporting construction aggregates and construction waste on local routes. You will collaborate closely with logistics coordinators to ensure timely cargo delivery while maintaining strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Your role leverages technology such as GPS navigation systems, mobile communication apps, electronic logging devices, and paper logs to optimize route management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off and dump trucks to transport construction aggregates and waste
• Comply with all safety and regulatory guidelines to ensure safe vehicle operation
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and cargo delivered using electronic and paper systems
• Coordinate route plans and schedules with logistics team members
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
• Ensure secure loading and unloading of cargo to prevent damage or spills
• Use GPS and mobile communication tools to navigate and stay in contact with dispatch

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in commercial truck driving

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication skills for effective coordination with the logistics team
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to commercial driving
• Clean CDL driving record
