Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Ortho Clinic Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and current Missouri licensure.

Details:

• Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting with a variety of patients including ortho, neuro, chronic, and pre/post-op cases
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Day shift schedule, 5x8, working 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend shifts required, though weekend availability may be requested
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements
• Rotating holiday coverage
• Uses EPIC for documentation

Requirements:

• Current Missouri PT licensure required if applicable
• BCPR certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Experience diagnosing physical-based abnormalities and restoring physical function and mobility required
• Ortho and neuro experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information:

• Responsibilities include promoting proper function through physical activities and restoring mobility for a variety of patient conditions
• Candidates should be personable, positive, and flexible when working with patients
• Black scrubs or professional wear required
• Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1, with exemptions subject to client approval
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius, though local candidates are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or reassignment outside the radius
