Cardiology - Electrophysiology Physician

Locum Electrophysiologist Opportunity Petoskey, Michigan No Call, 3 Weeks/Month

McLaren Northern Michigan is seeking a Board-Certified Electrophysiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in beautiful Petoskey, Michigan. This position offers a highly desirable Monday Friday schedule with no night call, no weekend coverage, and a balanced mix of outpatient clinic and electrophysiology lab responsibilities.

The provider will work onsite from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, covering both clinic and cath lab duties approximately three weeks per month. Clinical volume includes an average of 20 outpatient visits per day and two dedicated EP lab days each week. Providers will be supported by a full clinic team, including Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and will utilize Cerner as the electronic medical record system.

• Monday Friday schedule, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• No nights, weekends, or call responsibilities
• Coverage needed approximately 3 weeks per month
• Mix of outpatient clinic and EP lab procedures
• Average of 20 clinic patients per day
• Two dedicated EP lab days per week
• Full APP and clinic support staff
• Cerner EMR
• Multiple practice locations located on the McLaren Northern Michigan campus

• Board Certified in Electrophysiology
• Active Michigan medical license at time of submission
• DEA certification
• COVID-19 vaccination
• Local provider strongly preferred
• Ability to provide coverage 3 weeks per month

• Rental car reimbursement capped at $75/day (economy or standard vehicle)
• Lodging reimbursed at GSA rates
• Travel reimbursement subject to McLaren/AHSA policy guidelines
• Reverse billing system utilized through DocTime (clock-in/clock-out required)
