Investment Banking Industrials Associate / Vice President - New York

Overview Our New York City office is looking for an Investment Banking Associate or Vice President to join the Global Industrials Group. The successful candidate will work with regional and international clients on a wide range of complex transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, shareholder relations, recapitalizations, demergers, leveraged buyouts and defenses against unsolicited takeover attempts, strategic advisory assignments and public and private capital markets transactions. Responsibilities Work closely with professionals throughout the firm to deliver high quality advice to clients. Participate in the execution of deals across M&A and various industry sectors. Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience within the investment banking industry, or 1-3+ years with an MBA and a proven track record working on executed deals across M&A and various industry sectors. Experience in the industrials industry is strongly preferred, but not required. Commercial instinct and the ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines. Comfortable reading and interpreting financial statements. Extra‑ordinary motivation and commitment to working hard. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA, CA and/or CFA designation would be an asset. Series licensing or must obtain. Compensation & Benefits Expected base pay rates for the role are between $150,000 and $225,000 per year for an Associate, and between $250,000 and $275,000 per year for a Vice President. Compensation may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and other benefit programs.
