Key Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology
  • Demonstrated experience with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for eligibility and program planning
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct counseling and interventions to individual students or small groups
  • Support the social, emotional, and behavioral well-being of students
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Offer crisis intervention and resources as needed
  • Contribute expertise to school-wide initiatives that foster positive learning environments
