Senior/Staff Software Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer for a contract-to-hire position with a Financial Services Organization located in Minneapolis, MN. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Compensation: $95.00 - $96.00 per hour, W2, based on experience and qualifications

Position Overview:
This is a senior-level engineering role focused on building an internal AI toolkit for engineers. The goal is to create a unified playbook and set of tools to help internal software engineers build more efficiently. This position is focused on engineering productivity and enabling developers to use AI-supported tools in their day-to-day work.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Build an internal AI toolkit for engineers
• Create a unified playbook and set of tools that help internal software engineers build more efficiently
• Enable engineers to use AI-supported tools in their day-to-day development
• Define and build tools where the scope may still be evolving
• Work with internal engineering teams and understand developer pain points
• Build useful internal tools

Core Requirements:

• Strong software engineering background
• Experience with AI tooling, developer productivity, internal platforms, or engineering enablement
• Front-end, full-stack, or broader engineering experience
• Comfortable helping define and build tools where the scope is evolving
• Senior/staff-level ownership
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Able to work with internal engineering teams and understand developer pain points
• Curious, practical, and able to build useful internal tools
• Open to converting to a full-time position and does not require sponsorship
