Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Shift Notes

This position requires availability for a 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM shift. A total of 36 hours is scheduled, with 24 hours guaranteed. The candidate must be open to floating between multiple locations as needed, primarily between designated facilities. The organization reserves the right to cancel one shift per week.

Weekend and On-Call Requirements

Weekend and on-call requirements will be determined by the facility.

Job Description

This role demands proficiency in respiratory therapy, including but not limited to conducting patient assessments, providing ventilator management, and administering prescribed therapies. Candidates are expected to comply with floating protocols between locations within the region as necessary. Candidates must wear designated scrubs as specified.

Requirements

• Minimum of 24 months of RRT experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Current life support certifications from recognized organizations (AHA, ARC, or ASHI).
• No adverse actions on the state license to practice.
• Ability to start on the listed start date or within one week of that date.
• Request Time Off (RTO) must not exceed 7 days and cannot include the first week of the assignment.
• Proof of residency and a valid driver's license are required.
• Prior travel experience is highly preferred.

• RRT skills checklist completed within the last 12 months.
• Verification of active license to practice within the last 30 days.
• Active NBRC certification from an approved vendor.
