Diagnostic Medical SonographerThe Diagnostic Medical Sonographer functions as a healthcare provider, who, working under the delegated authority of the supervising physician, serves as a medical imaging professional providing clinically relevant information to assist the physician with diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role and responsibilities include providing diagnostic medial sonographer services and its various clinical specialties. The activities are performed consistent with their education and training, and in accordance with facility policy and procedures and applicable professional standards.Schedule:Full-time | 72 hours every two weeksDay Shift | Variable 9, 10, and 12 hour shiftsEvery 6th weekend | Rotating holidaysPay and Benefits:Pay starting at $40.97 per hour, pay determined by experiencePay range: $40.33- $61.72 per hour$2,500 hiring bonusFull time benefits: medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!Tuition reimbursement and college grant programs availableQualifications:Certificate Completion of a two-year Allied Health education program orAssociate or Bachelors of Applied Science Degree Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program orCurrent American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider CardRegistered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) ARDMS Credentialed in one of the following (credentials in multiple specialties preferred): 1) Abdomen 2) OBGYN 3) Pediatric 4) MSKARDMS Breast credentials required to rotate through Breast CenterRegistered Vascular Technologist (RVT) RVT Registered within 6 monthsVascular Experience PreferredTo be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time position.
