Golden Sonora Care Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a respiratory care professional who wants to use their expertise in a setting where individualized care, clinical judgment, and patient relationships truly matter.

Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates who are willing to relocate to the Sonora, CA area.

What You’ll Do

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide skilled respiratory care and work closely with nursing and other members of the interdisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assess patients and identify changes in respiratory status and overall condition.

• Perform focused respiratory assessments and gather relevant clinical information.

• Develop and implement respiratory care interventions based on patient needs and established care plans.

• Monitor and document patient responses to respiratory treatments and interventions.

• Communicate significant changes in patient condition to physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team.

• Follow established clinical, safety, infection prevention, and emergency procedures.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote continuity and quality of care.

• Provide compassionate, professional care while maintaining patient dignity and safety.

• Follow all applicable company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist preferred

• Associate degree from an accredited respiratory care program required

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program

• Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license

• Current CPR/BLS and ACLS certification

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field preferred

• Strong assessment, communication, and clinical decision-making skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

• Compassionate approach to patient care and a commitment to clinical excellence
