FT Cafe Shift Lead | CA | Century City

This individual is responsible for managing the overall flow and operations during a scheduled shift at the café, while delivering excellent customer service when interacting with customers. Responsibilities include effectively leading a shift and providing direction to staff to ensure operations run smoothly. Monitor breaks ensuring that they are running according to schedule and legal requirements. Monitor food quality and operations in back of house. Take the lead in ordering, stocking and replenishing items needed for service. Attend to customers and exhibit excellent customer service skills. Ensure DOH compliance and occupational health and safety compliance is met at all times. Exercise authority to manage hours of café staff based on the business. Escalate issues to Store Manager when necessary. Assist with banking and cashing out for each shift. Perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements include 1-2 years of related experience. Strong ability to multi-task. Excellent brand knowledge. Ability to perform under pressure without constant supervision. Ability to anticipate needs based on environmental and guest cues. Ability to work a variety of stations. Ability to lead a team and diffuse any work related issues. Ability to lift up to 25lbs and stand for extended periods of time. Excellent communication skills. Excellent customer service skills.
