Position: ICU Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This position offers a night shift schedule, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Monitor patient conditions and communicate any changes to the healthcare team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Document patient care and update medical records accurately.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 12 months of ICU experience required.
Active Ohio nursing license or a valid compact state license is mandatory.
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
Previous charge experience is preferred.
Experience with electronic charting systems is desirable.
Additional certifications such as NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) may be beneficial.

Unit and Staffing Details:

Patient Age Groups: All ages within the ICU.
Daily Census: Varies based on unit capacity.
Number of Beds: Specific to the ICU unit.

Compliance Requirements:

COVID-19 vaccination is required, with medical or religious exemptions considered only.
Flu vaccination is required, with medical or religious exemptions considered only.
Travelers must be nicotine-free, with a negative drug screening required within 12 months of start.
Background checks will be conducted; a clean record is imperative.
