Job Description
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a contract opportunity supporting a well-established hospital emergency department in Meridian, Mississippi .
This facility offers a collaborative clinical environment, modern resources, and a balanced coverage model that allows physicians to focus on delivering high-quality emergency care.
Position Highlights
• Setting: Hospital Emergency Department
• Trauma Level: Level III Trauma Center
• Annual ED Volume: 33,000 visits
• EMR: Epic
• ED Beds: 32
• Coverage Model: Physician and APP support
• Schedule: Nocturnist coverage available
• Assignment Length: 12 months
Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (EM, IM, or FM)
• Active Mississippi medical license required
• Active DEA registration
• ACLS, PALS, ATLS required if not ABEM certified
• Emergency medicine experience preferred
