Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for members through following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. You’ll count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure fresh items are available for take‑home. You will juggle tasks while helping members with bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good and great shopping experience. What you'll do Be a Team Member: Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate other associates, communicate effectively, and be flexible to business needs. Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications, plan future productions, adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, operate and sanitize equipment, and demonstrate understanding of product layout. Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the area, manage high exposure and expectations, stock and rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date‑control standards, guide peers, and assist customers according to company policies. Comply with company policies: Implement action plans, use the Open Door Policy, and apply standards of ethics and integrity. Complete work assignments: Use policies, data, and resources, collaborate, identify priorities, communicate progress, recommend improvement opportunities, and adapt to change. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food according to specifications. Ensure high‑quality products are available in the prepared foods area. Maintain clean, sanitized, and member‑ready work area. Ensure shelves are stocked, temperature is controlled, expiration dates verified, and lower‑quality products disposed. Handle product claims, returns, and zoning per company policies. Help members with bakery orders and other member needs. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Experience with fresh food preparation and following recipes. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Willingness to work in a kitchen environment and lift up to 25 lbs. Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain one. Preferred Qualifications Food Service or Food Handler Certification.
