Business Operations & Program Manager (Contract)Location: RemoteHourly rate: $75-$77ANDERSEN is seeking an experienced Business Operations & Program Manager to provide maternity leave coverage and support a high-impact Business Operations team within the Azure Hardware Systems & Infrastructure (AHSI) organization. This role is ideal for a highly analytical, organized, and self-directed professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys driving operational excellence, executive reporting, process improvements, and business insights.The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting organizational planning, reporting, headcount management, program coordination, and operational rhythm of business activities. This position also offers an opportunity to leverage AI-enabled tools and automation solutions to improve efficiency and business processes.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Operations & ReportingLead the monthly refresh process for AHSI organizational Key Results (KRs), partnering with team leads to collect status updates and ensure timely reporting.Prepare executive-ready summary presentations and insights for leadership reviews.Manage headcount reporting and Position Control Number (PCN) tracking, including:Dashboard maintenance and reportingWeekly management communicationsMonthly executive reporting packagesConduct ad hoc analyses to support organizational decision-making, workforce planning, and operational priorities.Program ManagementCoordinate cross-functional initiatives and support operational planning activities.Drive execution of recurring Rhythm of Business (ROB) processes and leadership review cycles.Track deliverables, identify risks, and ensure stakeholders remain aligned on priorities and timelines.Support business planning, organizational reviews, and operational governance activities.Process Improvement & AutomationIdentify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and streamline existing processes.Leverage AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, automation solutions, and Power Platform capabilities to increase productivity and reporting effectiveness.Develop scalable solutions that improve business visibility and reduce manual effort.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of experience in Business Operations, Program Management, Financial Planning, or a related function within a complex, matrixed organization.Demonstrated experience managing and improving Rhythm of Business (ROB) processes, leadership reviews, organizational planning, and reporting cadences.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced proficiency in:Microsoft ExcelPower BIMicrosoft PowerPointExperience creating executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups.Proven ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and adapt to changing business priorities.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting engineering, technical, or product development organizations.Familiarity with:Microsoft Power BIGitHub Copilot or other AI productivity toolsGitHubAzure DevOpsExperience implementing process improvements through automation, AI, or workflow optimization.Knowledge of workforce planning, headcount management, financial reporting, or organizational operations.Ideal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate combines strong business operations expertise with program management discipline and analytical rigor.
