Sr. HR Manager

Mueller Water Products

* Serve as a strategic HR business partner to plant leadership, translating business objectives into workforce, talent, organizational, and employee-relations strategies.* Develop and implement human resources strategies in areas including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and AA/EEO compliance.* Lead and advise management on complex employee-relations matters, including workplace investigations, performance management, progressive discipline, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and employment-risk mitigation.* Partner with Compensation and operational leadership to evaluate wage structures, market competitiveness, internal equity, promotional pay, and other compensation matters affecting workforce attraction and retention.* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by remaining updated on new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Ensure adherence to Mueller internal controls in areas such as payroll, benefits, etc.* Develop leadership capability through coaching, training, supervisor onboarding, and targeted leadership-development initiatives.* Use workforce data, HR metrics, and business information to identify trends, assess organizational needs, and recommend actions.* A consistent track record for executing performance objectives and delivering results.* Strong leadership, communications, and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of employees, customers and outside professionals.* Able to gain and maintain the trust and respect of teammates and others by building relationships.* Strong PC/Systems Knowledge including Microsoft Office and HRIS skills.* Demonstrated ability to successfully achieve goals through influence at high levels of an organization.* Ability to consistently provide positive and negative feedback to external process partners and peers in written and verbal form.* Ability to identify employees' strengths and limitations and give both spectrums of feedback (positive and constructive).* Ability to coach supervisors and managers at all levels in varying topics including performance management, progressive discipline, interpersonal issues, training, etc.* Has influence with peers at staff level to understand & achieve alignment and common goal(s).* Experience measuring and mitigating risk.* Bachelor's degree in business or related HR-discipline* 5+ years related HR generalist experience.* HR experience in a manufacturing plant environment* HR experience with both production and office employees* Master's degree in business or related HR-discipline* 5+ years in a leadership role, preferably in HR environment* PHR or SPHR certification* Ability to remain in stationary position or standing position for prolonged periods and alternate between* Ability to repeat gross or fine manipulation that may include the use of wrists, hands, and/or fingers.* Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including, but not limited to, safety glasses, steel-toed or metatarsal-guarded shoes, and/or ear plugs, while working in an industrial and/or manufacturing environment.* Ability to constantly communicate with others to exchange information in person, via phone, or via use of computer.* Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 25 pounds in weight in all directions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
